In order to obtain a reasonable service life of the mold, we need to pay attention to some problems when using the new mold. This will not cause damage to the mold early. What problems should we pay attention to when using the new mold? Its main attention to the following five issues can be. 1. Whether the handle screw and material screw on the mold are loose. 2. Whether the guide pillars and guide bushes are clean and free from lubricating oil; otherwise, clean oil should be added after cleaning. Should choose a higher viscosity lubricant, such as 50 # mechanical oil. When the mold is in use, refuel the guide post every 2 hours.
3, because the motor cold die is a precision die, the upper and lower plane of the die frame should be free of burrs and debris, otherwise, it will cause the parallelism of the upper and lower planes of the die frame to be out of tolerance, resulting in poor punch burr.
4. If the upper plane of the mold handle does not come into close contact with the bottom plane of the slider due to the last loading, cracks can easily occur. If there is a crack, replace the mold handle. Otherwise, in the event of a break in the mold shank, the mold will be scrapped or the punch damaged. 5. Before installing the die on the punching machine, confirm the following: Whether the hole diameter of the punch leakage hole is greater than the die hole leakage hole diameter Φd+50 or exceeds the diameter of the die core. If the above conditions are satisfied, then the diameter of the leak hole Φ should be reduced to prevent the die frame from being deformed due to the poor rigidity of the system for a long time, resulting in poor burr of the punch sheet and thus affecting the service life of the die.
