MoldTrax, a developer of mold maintenance tracking software based in Ashland, OH, and Beaumont’s American Injection Molding Institute (AIM; Erie, PA) have announced a first-of-its-kind conference for the injection molding industry. The Mold Performance Technology Conference will bring together processing and tooling experts to explore strategies to optimize mold performance and maintain efficiency.
The conference is a collaborative effort and a shared philosophy between MoldTrax’s Steve Johnson and AIM’s John Beaumont. Attendees will gain an increased awareness of how various molding disciplines affect each other and, ultimately, the plastic part, so they can better execute strategies to reduce quality concerns and more efficiently troubleshoot performance issues.
Mold designers, tooling and process engineers, managers, supervisors, repair technicians and molders will benefit from this 3 1/2 day event, which will be held Nov. 7 to 10 at the MoldTrax Maintenance Training Center in Ashland. Classes start at 8 AM and run until 4 PM. A full lunch will be provided and evening activities are planned, including a private, guided tour through the famous Mansfield Reformatory, where the Shawshank Redemption was filmed.
This conference is expected to sell out fast, as only 24 seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
